What to consider before you book in for a dress alteration

Posted by David Pell on

Before you book in with a seamstress for dress alterations it's important to know the heel height for the day so we recommend purchasing your shoes beforehand.

If a petticoat is needed, this is also something you will need to purchase before your seamstress appointment. You should take both your shoes and petticoat with you. Please wear the exact bra that you will be wearing on your wedding day.

We have a variety of seamstresses that we work closely with and can recommend one closest to your area. We suggest booking in with your seamstress no earlier than 6-8 weeks before the date of your wedding.
